When we graduated, I went into the Army, where I stayed until 1986. I was stationed in Korea, (twice), and Ft. Bragg, Ft. Riley, Ft. Polk, Ft. Dix, and also Ft. Gordon. I was a communcation spec.

I became a tow motor driver and a taxi driver in Louisiana. But, I'm back in Ohio now, living in Mentor, about a 5-minute walk from Lake Erie.

I'm now disabled because of a bad heart.

I spend a lot of time with my pets, and I also spend time on the computer catching up with classmates on Facebook.

Editor's Note:
We lost Rex in the early part of January, 2014. He was living in Naples, FL at the time.
Last I spoke with him was a few months before his death, and he seemed happy and was really looking forward to
coming back up to Akron, if he could swing it, so he could attend the 40th Class Reunion.
Rex was a very kind soul. When we found out about his demise, the Ellet High School Class of 1974 Classmates, who are
on Facebook, took up a collection and decided to donate $500 to Akron's Haven of Rest Homeless Shelter, in his name.
Rest in peace, Rex, rest in peace.
